We delivered a fully operational assistant agent for APR’s Estimating Tool using Copilot Studio, engineered specifically around the DFW Contruent solution. This wasn’t a generic chatbot with a few PDFs tossed at it. We built an extensive, purpose-built knowledge base grounded in the reality of how the tool is taught and used: the team’s own hosted training sessions, the recordings of those trainings, plus the full ecosystem of manuals, user guides, and internal documentation. The result is an assistant that can reliably guide users through estimating workflows with contextual accuracy—because it was trained on how APR and DFW actually work in the Estimating tool.
Innovation also delivers on the engineering side; rapidly and responsibly. We use Codex 5.4 to build out substantial coding projects, including internal tool development and programmatic updates that keep systems evolving without breaking what already works. In parallel, we leverage ChatGPT 5.4 for additional development acceleration, especially in areas like SQL-based problem solving and solution design for DFW. One example: supporting the buildout and refinement of DFW’s NAICS code solution, where precise querying, data logic, and iteration is necessary.
Innovation’s technical capability is matched by how we deliver: collaboratively, transparently, and with a bias toward integration instead of isolation. Using ChatGPT Business as a collaboration layer, we support Agile development that strengthens cross-functional execution—building relationships across our own departments to ensure solutions are adopted, maintainable, and aligned with real business needs. In other words: we don’t “hand off” tools and vanish. We build them into the business so they stick.
